ReBoot – Megabyte and Hexadecimal Merge To Become Gigabyte

Many of you won’t remember or haven’t even heard of the cartoon series called ReBoot. ReBoot was a 90s  CGI cartoon and was way before its time. 3D animated cartoons were starting to take shape in the late 90’s and ReBoot was one of the 1st of many.  3D animation in the late 80’s and early 90’s was not even heard of for cartoons. Because the availability was so small, developing such a project would be very expensive. But at the end of the day, with enough episodes produced, the show was ready to go live on tv.

Toonami on Cartoon Network would breathe life into the series thus increasing ReBoot’s fan base. Viewers were introduced into a exciting new world (inside of a computer network) that was filled with many characters and environments that would resembled computer parts and terminologies.

In this scene, a ‘Web’ virus has hacked its way into the network and has infected Megabyte. The infected Megabyte (being controlled) looks to merge (fuze) with his sister Hexadecimal to form… Gigabyte.  See for yourself below.
